JANI-PETTERI OLKKONEN is a theatre director and ritual- and sound artist specializing in ritualistic art and specifically in ritual art as a defined form of performing arts. With a background in visual art, music and performance and trained as a professional theatre director, he works as a director, independent artist, artistic consultant and a teacher of drama, ritual art and shamanistic practice at various forums (institutional theatre and art companies, avant-garde performing art collectives and theatre/art academies). His work is characterized by holistic thinking and a desire to create both spiritual and concrete spaces, experiences and initiations/transformative processes, that could open ways out from our unsustainable way of life and societal situation.

JENNY OLKKONEN (before Suhonen) is a visual artist who works in the fields of painting, installation, ritual art and performance. Her art looks beyond the surface. She uses symbols and metaphors to build bridges and open doors to the unseen. As Jean Moréas writes in Symbolist Manifesto 1886:

In this art, scenes from nature, human activities, and all other real world phenomena will not be described for their own sake; here, they are perceptible surfaces created to represent their esoteric affinities with the primordial Ideals.

Jenny has graduated as a painter from Free Art School, Helsinki (2008-2012) and has studied Live Art and Performance Studies in Theatre Academy in Helsinki (2015-2017). She holds also a master degree in Architecture (2007).
